Rev. Wayne L. Moore
Reverend Wayne L. Moore is currently the Senior Pastor at the Olivet Missionary Baptist Church, in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he Teaches, Preaches, and spreads the Word of our Heavenly Father.
In 1980, he was licensed to Preach at the Christ Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Melvin Girton. Under the tutorage of Reverend Girton he was selected to serve as one of his Associate Ministers. Also, he went on to serve as Associate Minister at the Mt Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, and the Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church. In addition, he held the positions of Interim Pastor at the New Garfield Baptist Church, Greater St. Mark Baptist Church and the Northside New Era Baptist Church.
In May of 1990, Reverend Moore received his Bachelor of Theology Degree from the Central Baptist Theological Seminary; and in May of 2004, Reverend Moore received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Simmons Bible College, Louisville, Kentucky. Also, to stay abreast of all Theological training he has done extensive work at the Martin University and Heritage Bible College.
In August of 1990, Reverend Moore was installed as the Pastor of the Olivet Missionary Baptist Church. Under Pastor Moore’s leadership the Olivet Baptist Church has grown spiritually, numerically, and financially. Pastor Moore and the Church Officers realized that with the growth of the Church there was a need for a new facility.
With the help of the Holy Spirit Olivet moved from its location on the Southside of the city to its current location on the far Westside of Indianapolis. The Church and the Pastor have been instrumental in providing for the spiritual and earthly needs of this community.
Reverend Moore was Second Vice President of the Indiana Missionary Baptist Convention; past General Secretary of Capitol City Fellowship Association; past Foreign Mission Chairman for I.M.B.S.C.; and past Foreign Mission Board Member of the National Missionary Baptist Convention. He served a term as the Director of Simmons Bible College Indianapolis Extension, board member and Treasure of the Central Baptist Theological Seminary. Reverend Moore has been an instructor at the National Baptist Sunday School Convention for over twelve years. In May of 2002, he was elected Moderator of the Capitol City Fellowship Missionary Baptist Association for a four-year term.
In November of 2006, Reverend Moore was offered and accepted the position of Assistant General Secretary of the National Missionary Baptist Convention of America. Also, in May of 2008, Reverend Moore was bestowed an Honorary Doctorate Degree from the Central Baptist Theological Seminary; and in August of 2008 he was elected to the position of President of the Indiana Missionary Baptist State Convention. Most recently, Reverend Moore was an instructor at the Central Baptist Theological Seminary. In 2016, he was elected to the position of President of the Baptist Minister’s Alliance, and he holds this position currently.
During the Pandemic of March 2020, Dr. Moore founded the Morning Fellowship Podcast Show that airs Monday-Friday on Facebook at 8:00am. The Morning Fellowship is a platform to provide much needed information to the Black Community that would otherwise not be privy to. He works as a community advocate for the underserved in the city of Indianapolis. He is also a supporter of a plethora of community leaders including a liaison to Prosecutor Ryan Mears. The Gray Table portion of the show was given to Dr. Moore by inspiration of the Holy Spirit to give a voice to the unheard, including clergy, elected officials, community leaders and grassroot workers. Dr. Moore also enjoys person to person outreach ministry for example: gifts cards for seniors and single mothers and, 10,000 free covid kits for the community to name a few. He Co-Hosts Real People Real Voices on WHMB Channel 40 and Unity in the Community 1310AM with Rev. James Jackson.
The Pastor of the Olivet Baptist Church is a very devoted family man, he along with his wife Sister Paulastyne Terry Moore have been blessed with three daughters Candice, Courtney and Cameron, grandson Caden and nephew Ernest Terry.
Rev. Antonio M. Alexander
Rev. Antonio M. Alexander is first a servant of God. He is the husband of Victoria and the father of three children. He serves in the capacity of Assistant Pastor of Purpose of Life Ministries, located in Indianapolis, IN.
Rev. Alexander has a Dual Bachelor of Theology Degrees with Concentrations in Leadership, from Christian Life School of Theology. He is currently the host of The Concerned Clergy Radio Program on WTLC The Light in Indianapolis, IN. As an advocate, Rev. Alexander has served on the Blueprint Council and shared the Community Education and Public Policy committee of the Indianapolis Continuum of Care (CoC). The CoC advocates for the rights of the homeless in Central Indiana. Rev. Alexander also serves as chairperson for the Concerned Clergy of Indianapolis’ Economic and Communication committees.
